The second face of the Aguilar brothers: Jose Juan Aguilar completes this awesome pair and the intensity and imagination in his works are nothing short of his brothers anymore. Both of them inherited the playful, humorous skills of their mother Josefina but each of them twists a unique style out of the family tradition. While Demetrios works show a real dark and rough accent, Jose Juan caught the ball and over the years he created his own bittersweet version of the world in clay. Highly detailed sculptures and the use of unique metallic colours, which have not been seen before from the Aguilar family, are his trademarks.
