Concepción Aguilar Alcántara is the youngest of the famous sisters. Like the others she was drawn by the magic of clay as a young person and startet to create her own techniques and styles. In Collector´s circles she is well known since many years as the freakiest Aguilar Sister and when we saw her pitch-back Ladies of the Night, Santa Muerte in her very own versions or  the funny devils and colourful Catrinas -  we had to admit that this stuff is hot. Her very own style is expressed for one in the mostly grey coloured faces of the characters. In contrast she adds a lot of colourful little companions out of the animal kingdom to her figures as an expression of the never ending circle of life and death. From all four Sisters she moved away the farthest from the classical-line and conquers successfully new terrain.
