Virginia Morgan Tepetla is our hottest newcomer from Izucar de Matamoros, a dusty little town near Puebla and home of several outstanding artists. Virginia represents with her fellow Tomàs Hernàndez the new generation of the artist community there and brings a fresh breeze to the birthplace of the Tree of Life. Her pieces show many awesome details and are kept in earth like colours but in big difference to the other artists she does not cover the figurines with the normally used final clear varnish. By this the colours stay natural and add a total new aura to the traditional themes. Free- spirited this young and friendly mother checks out new options and creates with her two sons her very own version of Arte en Barro Polichromado. Especial!! |
