The illustration of the endless circle of life and death is a favoured theme of the Aguilar brothers. While his brother is going wild mostly on very heavy and opulent pieces, Jose gets the devil in the deatails which he can arrange on a small area like one one else.

Through the very good dimensioning of the two halfs, this dog melts together to an perfect optical unit. The skeleton part comes in the familiar Aguilar style and the alive part captures by a very own specialty of Jose: The use of a mystical varnish and glue revives life into the face of the dog especially the nose and the muzzle of this creature look so alive and ready to bite in the next seconds. Crowned with very realistc saliva between the jaws. rrrrrrrrrrrr!
