Peyote Loco

If our Calavera de Azucar sugar skull design is too tame for you, you might like the the martial Peyote Loco more. Our skull specialists may have realized, that it’s taken from the epic Mascara Sagada design, where it forms the centerpiece. We found the punky aztec artwork so highly outstanding, that we suggested to produce an entirely own shirt design from it. The result is impressive: the print details show Discharge screen printing in perfection while the second colour layer beautifully emphasizes the contours of the ornaments, making the Peyote Loco an absolute stage hog.

Mexican Mob T-shirts are made of high quality cotton, which has been produced in the most ecologically correct manner possible. The shirts are outstanding for their high wash resistance and long lasting shape stability. The manufacturing has been made under the umbrella of the Fair Wear Foundation, which stands up for good working conditions and fair wages in the textile industry. But it’s Mexican Mob in Berlin, who is responsible for the final finishing, where a technique called Discharge printing is used to etch the stylish prints in the fabric. With the Discharge process, dark textiles are destained in a complex procedure, during which the cotton returns to its natural colour. The result is a barely tactile print, leading to a super pleasant wearing comfort. This – and the superb printing details – is the reason why Mexican Mob has been able to made a name for itself throughout Europe.
