These paper flowers are handcrafted by two lovely old ladies in Mexico City. The flowers can easily be attached to the sugar skulls with a little bit of glazing. A stunning, but a bit time-consuming decorating idea is to form a Frida Kahlo style bouquet out of the flowers, as shown on the picture. Another great idea is to place the paper flowers in the eyes of the sugar skull.
Besides the use on your homemade sugarskulls, you can place the flower bouquets on your Day of the Day altar, too. A bouquet contains flowers in 5 colours.
