The Hanging Skeleton
63 cm true old school artisanship made of tin. All parts of the skeleton are connected by means of small loops of wire - a sweet handmade party decoration and nice gadget for your Day of the Dead altar
The Hanging Skeleton is true old school artisanship and consists of head, torso, pelvis, arms and legs, all in separated limbs. All parts of the skeleton are connected by means of small loops of wire. A further wire flap at the top of the head helps with hanging or mounting the skeleton. Just like all our sheet metal works, the hanging skeleton has been coated with high quality paints and is available in 5 different colours.
This timeless classic of the mexican Day of the dead folk art is a sheer all-rounder. He likes to be outside on a sunny balcony, joyfully rattling in the wind. If it starts to get rainy and cold, our skeleton prefers to move inside to avoid possible rust and corrosion. He also likes to play the leading role on your Day of the Dead altar and we also heard from customers who gave our cricket fellow a decorators job at their extraordinary Christmas tree. Besides the various possible uses around your home, the hanging skeleton still is a Mexican party decoration par excellence and has been seen in many pubs between Stockholm and Palermo, enjoying the party life at or behind the bar.
