Our smallest Mexican skull comes from Oaxaca, is made of hard-fired red clay and is completely white except for the glittered eyes and the outlines of the teeth and nose, which have been applied with sweeping black lines. The minimalist design makes this small skull ideal as a base for mischievous DIY decoration projects.
The microskull can be used to create wonderful accents on the Day of the Dead altar and, with a little skill, it can also be beautifully incorporated into floral arrangements or other altar decorations due to its small size and weight.
In terms of size, the 3.5 cm high skull fits very well with our folding altars and can be placed perfectly on the colored Papel Picado fields on the floor. You can select the eye color above, in the last photo we have arranged a direct comparison with the "big brother" Miniskull.
