Frida Flower Mask

The Frida Flower Mask made of clay has been one of the first Superskull products ever and represents Mexican art associated with the Day of the Dead perfectly. The Frida Kahlo Skull mask has the size of a hand with stretched fingers and is framed by little blossoms made of clay. As a decoration idea, we recommend to combine the Frida flower mask with one of the larger crosses from this section or our Winged Skull Mask.

Our Mexican skull for the wall was handcrafted from red clay and comes from a small family business in Oaxaca. After firing the clay, the skull mask is dipped in thick white paint to seal the surface, just in case you were wondering if the white colour means it’s made of plaster...it’s not.

The blossoms at the top and the diabolical earrings have been attached to the body with a strong wire. Another wire loop at the back side helps mounting this piece of authentic Dia de Muertos decoration to the wall.
