Guitar Mariachi

When asked about our personal favorite musicians from our selection of figures, we would always give a very clear answer - these papier-mâché Mariachis are in a league of their own. 

Working with papier-mâché has a long tradition in Mexico. Paper fibers, water and paste are processed into a viscous paste that can then be sculpted with great verve. Our papier-mâché mariachi comes from a small family business in Mexico City, where it is handmade to the highest standard using the combined experience of three generations. The exquisite collector's items get their dignified charm from extremely smart sculls in perfection and a finish with glossy lacquer, which preserves the elaborate hand-painting and also provides a subtle portion of patina. The mariachi has been very skillfully mounted on a small, approx. 4x4 cm wooden base to ensure it stands securely.

As always with this type of figurine, please note that small deviations from the photos may occur due to the handcrafted production process and that the hats on our mariachis in particular may sometimes be slightly larger and sometimes slightly smaller. As always, you will receive hand-picked quality.
