Corazon Shrine

“Corazon tu diras lo que hacemos” means “Sweetheart, you will tell me what to do” and is one of those wonderful Mexican double meanings. The centerpiece of one of our favorite Tzopelli pieces is an approximately 10 x 8 cm large, curved and artfully engraved vintage heart made of brass. Hearts like this are not something you can just find on a street corner in Mexico - Dulce Ortega regularly hunts for these pieces at antique markets in Puebla and Mexico City and we were very lucky to be able to equip this series completely with antique hearts. The engraving on the centerpiece may differ slightly from the photo shown here - as always, you will receive hand-picked quality. 

The dignified decoration of pink fabric and paper roses has been nestled in the corners in a highly concentrated manner and the surrounding golden decorative leaves have been individually nailed on. The red fabric roses between the surrounding leaves are of the very best quality, with washed-out color effects ranging from deep purple to turquoise forming the visual framework of the exquisite wall decoration. There is a bracket on the back for wall mounting along with the Tzopelli certificate of authenticity.

Tzopelli shrines are in a class of their own and impress with their beautiful visual depth, adept handling of decorative utensils and very high-quality workmanship.
