The unusual wall decoration is made from a piece of carefully hand-formed Mexican clay. The magnificent skull emerges from the body as the central element of the small sculpture and shines with hairline details and the soulful expressiveness typical of José Juan's skulls. 

The proportions of the skull bat are perfect, and the same naturally applies to the general workmanship of the piece. Behind the skull there is a wire bracket cleverly embedded in the body for wall mounting, which cannot be seen from the front.
