This kitschy-beautiful christmas tree ornament is a mexican classic, which has reached worldwide popularity because of its dazzling colours. Besides their common use on a christmas tree, the mexican tin ornaments do an excellent job as gift tags or as light and floating window decorations.

Our mexican tin ornaments are handmade in the most traditional manner possible. With very specific tools, like metal shears and a wide arsenal of custom-shaped chisels, driven by hammers, the raw material is turned into beautiful ornaments which are carefully painted by hand. All of our tin ornaments come from a small family-owned business, located in the south of Mexico, with which we have a fair trade partnership since our earliest days.

As a quality feature, our mexican tin ornaments are fully painted on both sides, whereas the more subtle nuances of the faces are only visible on the front sides. Since all of our tin ornaments are handcrafted, we would like to point out that perfection, as in industrially manufactured ornaments, can not be expected and is nothing that we pursue at all. Minor deviations from the images in our webshop can occur and are giving each piece its particular charm.
