Winged Skull Mask

The winged skull mask made of clay has been one of the first Superskull products ever and represents Mexican art associated with the Day of the Dead perfectly. The Skull mask has the size of a hand with stretched fingers and is framed by mini skulls with mischievous smiles on their faces. As a decoration idea, we recommend to combine two of the winged masks with one of the larger crosses from this section or our Frida Kahlo skull mask.

Our Mexican skull for the wall with fine pink shades on the wings was handcrafted from red clay and comes from a small family business in Oaxaca. After firing the clay, the skull mask is dipped in white paint to seal the surface, just in case you were wondering if the white colour means it’s made of plaster...it’s not.

The Miniskulls at the top and the small earrings have been attached to the body with a strong wire. A wire loop at the back side helps mounting this piece of authentic Dia de los Muertos decoration to the wall.
